Abigail Parker

Abigail started dance at the age of nine when she enrolled in the Dance Center of New Jersey . Abigail attended various summer intensive programs including American Ballet Theatre, The Washington Ballet and Kaatsbaan Extreme Ballet.  In 2013, Abigail was accepted into American Repertory Ballet's trainee program. During the two-year program, she performed with the company in their annual production of "The Nutcracker" as well as artistic director Douglas Martin's world premiere of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and "Rite of Spring." Abigail was also the recipient of the Maria Youskevitch Scholarship Award during the school's final performance of "Sleeping Beauty" where she performed the role of Lilac Fairy. In the summer of 2015, Abigail moved from New Jersey to Portland, Oregon. At the conclusion of PDX CB's 2015-2016 season, Abigail was given the opportunity to perform with the Northwest Dance Project in their summer performance "Summer Splendors" with choreography by Yin Yue.
