Olivia Ancona

Olivia Ancona was born in San Francisco, however grew up in Berkeley, London, and predominately Portland, Oregon. She trained with the Northwest Dance Project, ​Jefferson Dancers, and the Portland Ballet, and is an alumnus of the Juilliard School. In 2010-2012 Olivia was a member of the Batsheva ensemble. She danced and helped to co-found Sharon Eyal and Gai Behar’s company L-E-V from 2012-2014, while freelancing internationally including collaborations with Italian choreographer Luca Veggetti and performing in Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui’s project company Eastman throughout Europe and Russia. 2014/15 Olivia was a member of the Royal Swedish Ballet in Stockholm, where she had the opportunity to work with Mats Ek and create with Johan Inger before rejoining Batsheva Dance Company.
