Kiri Maasen began dancing at the age of 3 in St. Louis, Missouri. She trained pre-professionally at programs including the Center of Contemporary Art in St. Louis, attended summer programs including Perry Mansfield Arts School and Camp, and has worked with dozens of wonderful teachers and choreographers throughout her dance career. Kiri lived in Boston for four years training and performing with an On2 Salsa team, Volante, that performed across the United States East coast and Canada. She has been teaching and training in New York On2 Salsa for 8 years, and currently teaches all level classes in this technique in her new home, Portland Oregon. She continues to train and work in contemporary dance as well as salsa locally, nationally, and internationally.
