BO BRINTON was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and raised in Tucson, Arizona. He began his training at Arizona Ballet Theatre under the direction of Cecily Bressel and Norman Walker, and was awarded scholarships to attend summer programs at American Ballet Theatre in New York City and Alonzo King LINES Ballet in San Francisco. He continued his training at School of Dance at the University of Arizona, where he learned and performed a variety of works choreographed by George Balanchine, Elizabeth George and James Clouser. Upon graduating from the University of Arizona in 2016 with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in dance, Bo accepted a position with Artifact Dance Project in Tucson, Arizona. The following year, he joined José Mateo Ballet Theatre in Boston for the company’s final repertory season. He then spent three seasons with San Diego Ballet, where he danced soloist roles in classical and contemporary works by artistic director Javier Velasco.
