Nick Jurica

Teacher

Nicholas Le-Jurica (he/him), did most of his growing up in Beaverton Oregon. Always a mover as well as many other things, it was his love of wiggles and his mother enrolling him in a free ballroom class that led Nicholas to start dancing at a local dance studio. In highschool he spent nearly all of his time studying formalized dance techniques at Arts and Communications Magnet Academy (ACMA) as Well as The Portland Ballet. Nicholas then went on to study Dance as a performing art at Juilliard in New York City. After Four years he had received his BFA as well as performed many great works of dance both repertory and new creation. After school Nicholas moved to Salt Lake City where he would dance with the Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company (RWDC). It is with RWDC that he would receive teacher certifications in dance as education as well as dance as Therapy. Nicholas has taught in over 100 public schools, 4 universities, and many dance festivals and summer intensives. Mostly though he’s just a lover of dance who is very excited to be working with the students of his home town.
