Asteria grew up in Traverse City, Michigan where she studied dance from an early age and eventually received her degree in modern dance. She began teaching at that time and has been a dedicated educator around the globe for 18 years. Asteria has taught and worked across Australia, New Zealand, and now resides in Portland, OR, USA. She has dedicated her life's work to making dance accessible for everBODY and is looking forward to continuing her work with the BodyVox community.
