Theresa Hanson was born and raised in Gainesville, Florida, where she grew up dancing at Pofahl Studios. She continued her dance career with Dance Alive National Ballet in 2009 and advanced to Soloist in 2012, performing repertoire such as Bolero, Rite of Spring, Scheherazade, Carmina Burana and Balanchine’s Allegro Brilliante. Theresa moved to Orlando, Florida in 2016, working as a commercial dancer and actor, including performing for Universal Orlando. In 2018, she moved to Portland and joined PDX Contemporary Ballet for one season before joining BodyVox. She is grateful to return for her fourth season!
